Still awaiting payment though, I think someone bid above the reserve with a few seconds to go and isn't sure.

I just bought some Paul Smith 'Indigo Jeans' in the Harvey Nichols sale and there was a nice selvedge surprise when they arrived.
If anyone wants to get in on the action, they're reduced from £150 - £60.

Brighton TK have some Natural Selection selvedge in at the moment.
I really must stop buying denim...
I got two pairs from TK Brixton, one of them was only £20 but they feel great.

Not about selvedge jeans, but where else would I post this?
When did they change the cut of Levis 501? Lived in them in the late eighties, calm, relaxed, reasonable quality do-it-all jeans.
Bought a pair today and they are fucking budgie smugglers. If I was circumcised you would be able to tell!
Is my febrile memory failing me?

Perhaps you've 'filled out'

My thighs a bit from 'that cycling' but my waist is the same as it's been since Guns & Roses recorded November Rain.
To be fair though, I did buy them from TK Min so they may be a mis-made pair of strides.....

doesn't 501's change shape every year? They're like the current 'on-trend' jean, whatever that may be

I have a pair of never worn Joe McCoy 906 34W 36L that don't fit me and I can't return. They are awesome, I know very little about jeans, I have just done some googling and apparently they retail for £260....(!) if anyone is interested for £150 ono I will post photos, they are awesome but too small for me.

I've got a pair of Edwin E71 31 (or 30) x 32.
I don't think they're selvedge. I'm pretty sure they're not. They're in good nick. What price? -
• #1714
I've picked up un-washed barely used selvedge Edwins on ebay for £20-something, but I think I got a bargain, seen them go for £50 odd

Quality jeans. Too big for me, but Joe McCoys are lovely.
I'm new on LFGSS but I must be in the right place - love my bikes and denim - can't have too many of either!Favourites: Samurai S5000, Iron Heart 21oz and Studio d'Artisan SD001. Lovely denim and sick fadez as they say. Also got a bit of a weakness for leather jackets too. It's a slippery slope...

Are iron heart worth the monies? What kind of life span are we talking?

Indeed they are awesome I have the slim fit 991 which do retail for £260 but if you have the straight fit 906 Superdenim carry them for £225 .

Well, 21oz is pretty tough and they're very well put together. I tend to actually wash my jeans (after a year or so!) and they seem to be holding up fine. I think they're worth it, but if you're spending big on just one nice pair of Japanese jeans I'd go for some Samurais, they're very nice: http://www.samurai-j.com/jeans_collection/index.html

^^^ Iron Heart chewed me up and spit me out, I'm sure they'll pass muster in the durability department - very good QC too, at least on the pair that I had and sold.
I had the 634. -

I had the 634.I've got the 634. They kind of break you in, not the other way round. But after a while they really soften up nicely. I used to wear them and a Horsehide jacket on my motorbike, it felt like a suit of armour.
