  • That is hideous. Some Genesis styling has taken a turn for the worse the last couple of years.

  • .

  • Boring road bike. What are your reasons to post it?

  • i agree

  • Are you trying to beat Apotrollo by post count?
    Think quality, not quantity.

  • Dat Firefly tho!

  • That Firefly is insane. In a good way.

  • that firefly is awol with more sex

    love it

  • Contender for my favourite bike ever.

  • From here http://www.cycleexif.com/firefly-bicycles-all-road-tourer

That lights not going to last long in the event of a crash. I'd mount it inside the rack somewhere given a choice.

  • Well, if I HAD to start nit-picking I'd say it would have been nicer if the fork crown matched the wishbone.

  • Yeah for nit picking... the rear tyre valve isn't quite aligned vertical to tyre logo (tho front is spot on). this may be a trick of the camera lens

  • ^ seems like you're right, a touch off in a side shot:

  • Unicrown is ugly and eminently functional.
    And ugly.

  • Soma low trail forks might actually exist !!

  • About time too, they make it a lots easier for those who wish to try this lark out without spending silly money on a custom fork/bike.

  • Yep, yet another thing to consider adding to the bike shopping list...

  • Loving the colour of the new Cross Check. Seriously tempted

  • Totally, equipment level is great too, 48/36t crankset with a 10spd 11-32 is a good all round gears.

Good move on V brakes, powerful and more clearance than mini v with the massive 41mm tyres.

    Have anyone notice that the new Steamroller now have mudguard eyelit? finally! (hidden in fork);

  • Yep good move that, can't believe it took them so long. Where in London do you reckon would have crosschecks built up to test ride, but also sell them frame only?

  • Brixton Cycles, they have the 2014 model, so doubt they'll have a new batch of 2015 frame yet.

Any LBS with ISON as their distro will order them for you.

  • Thanks Ed, that's great, Brixton is real close. It doesn't look like the geometry's changed at all so I might pop by and try out the 2014 one, then order the new frame when it comes in. Do you happen to know when it's likely to be in the shops?

  • Nah haven't changed, still long and low.

It only got a new paintjob AFAIK, just get the old one that'll likely to be discounted.

  • Some subtle differences: now 10 speed, wider rims, knards and the aforementioned v brakes and levers.

Old model was 9 speed, 16mm rims, cantis and terrible 32mm tyres for riding in this country.

Don't forget... orange is cool too.

  • they should have hidden the rear mudguard eyelets aswell

they look ridiculous perched on the end of the dropout like that
