  • Have you considered a bike fit?

I think the seattube extension is a little deceptive here. would it still look bad if the seatpost was integrated? I think it's borderline OK for someone who probably has short legs and long torso?

  • minimax?

main frame slx, forks crown and stays columbus air

  • The length of planet-x track fork is 375, isn't it?

  • Sooooooon....

    oooooffffff.

    DIBS!;)

as long it fits me good.

  • Booom

  • Ooh nice

  • just bought this off tsw76, very excited. will post when things get a little further too!

  • Nice Roberts. I like the stay cap pantograph.

  • The length of planet-x track fork is 375, isn't it?

Yes - quite long a-c for a track fork.

  • Almost the same length as a Surly Steamroller fork.

This is so perf for you

  • Sometime ago when I posted a picture of my track bike someone really wanted to buy Scatto bars from me, can't remember who it was. I didn't want to sell them then, but they are for sale now.

  • Built some new wheels, painted tb14's matt black, grand compe rear, miche front, 49:18-16. new 100mm stem, feels very 'right'

  • Look perfect.

  • Looks sick mate.
    Good work

  • Have you considered a bike fit?

Due to fucked up proportions (long torso/arms to relatively short legs), this bike actually fits me pretty well.

  • This happened to anyone elses cxp30's? Got these secondhand a while ago but can't think why this might have happened, haven't played with the spokes or anything.

  • DA 7600 rear hub to Archetype or TB14? Got the hub cheap and can get a TB14 cheap but prefer the look of archetypes

  • ^^ Over tensioned?

  • Pretty miffed, they've been sat doing nothing for like 6 months. Do people still need the eyelet things?

  • DA 7600 rear hub to Archetype or TB14? Got the hub cheap and can get a TB14 cheap but prefer the look of archetypes

    I've had both.
I prefer the Archetype on a modern build.

I've put my 7600s on silver TB14s for my steel NJS bike. I think it looks better.

  • ^ don't throw away the eyelet thingys. I'd put up a sale thread or eBay.

They're such a pain if you don't have them. I was sold a pair of tubs which had the eyelets removed... I left them on the road side near London Fields in the end :(

Mind me asking where you got cheap tb14's from?

  • Looks like Hulsroy got me sold on a little 2 degree slope on the TT, which lead to 10mm longer head tube (removing 10mm of spacers).
