The fail is that ad agencies are all about managing public perception, and that not one of the coked up goons in the agency thought 'exploding skyscraper / September 11 - someone could make something of this'.
Or maybe they did, and we're all just playing into their hands by talking about it. Wouldn't have known there was a TMNT movie otherwise, might go and see it now. Dammit, we've been played by coked up goons.
