On the roadsafe form it requests the use of skin colour as an identifier, there is nothing inherently weird about describing someone using obvious physical signs.

It wasn't the mention of skin colour I was saying was weird, it was the specific description 'black or African' which reads a bit oddly. It's (a bit) like saying 'white or European'.

Anyway, as I said, the main thing is you've been 'lucky' enough to be abused by someone representing the one motoring organisation that has generally been very pro-cycling and therefore I'd imagine they'll take it very seriously. Particularly if you CC in Edmund King.
