  • E3 is really expensive which is why I decided to look in Leyton(stone). Still some cheap-ish properties there. For me, being near the Central Line is important though.

We've just instructed our solicitor to go ahead and exchange contracts for our new place in Leytonstone. He asked me and my girlfriend to decide on a Deed of Trust in case we decided to split and sell up. I'm putting up maybe 75% of the deposit and plan to over-pay the mortgage, so not sure what to agree on. Anyone else been in this situation?

Congrats Rob! I am in the same situ deposit wise but the other way round... we don't have anything in place, just hoping if god forbid we do split up neither of us will be dicks.

e3 is great. why move if its only outside space you are after? youve got the park on your doorstep...

having a private/shared garden in london is a great luxury..

Yeah, I do LOVE E3, I have lived here all my London life and it feels like home. My flat over looks a park but I can't help dream about a small outside space with a summer house/bike shed/ pizza oven. That sounds very grand but think more garden shed with a deck chair in.
