Hein Gericke used to be a good mid quality option. They always appeared to have the spec of gear like Rukka but would let you down with silly things like outside pockets that fill with water. The materials used to wear in some places that would mean the whole jacket had to go. If you can face the price of Rukka new or used you won't be disappointed.
I used to visit the Hein Gericke shop in Clapham regularly, they had a huge space and hardly any customers so it didn't surprise me that they couldn't balance the books.
