Was there a crowd in th fan park yesterday? I was there for the end of Friday's stage, and there were maybe 5 other people in the whole place, despite, or maybe because of, Fosters handing out free booze. There had been a rainshower earlier, but it had cleared up by the time the race reached the sharp end.
I was also there for the end of Thursday's stage, and there were 30-40 people. Unless there was a big turnout at the weekend, can't see anyone thinking the organisers got their money's worth. Without Brits at the front, it's bound to be a loss-maker, we may not see it again.
