If this is a serious accusation/assault and you've any evidence, you have grounds for a complaint to the GMC and more chance of success than with a criminal prosecution.
Even without end result, the annoyance such an investigation causes to a registered practitioner may make you feel better. In my opinion aggressive public behaviour is both improper per se and also brings the profession into disrepute both of which are due cause for disciplinary action.
