Last week van Gaal has a massive pop art United's pre season tour and the scheduling of it and the thick media describes tell us about his brand awareness.
Yesterday he makes it abundantly clear that this pre season is a joke and that he can't prepare a squad when the team have to travel up and down north America to play some friendlies.
Looks like he's settling in well..

Luke Shaw describing Man U as "the biggest club in the world" had me projectile vomiting with laughter this morning.

Fraizer Campbell is a great signing for Palace, I can see Pulis getting a lot out of him.

Pre-season games are friendlies. Some players shine in the non-pressurised atmosphere of pre-season games. This does not mean that they will suddenly be a candidate for player of the season.

dicki, lucas was a mainstay of your team two seasons ago before his knee injury.
andyp, with lamela I'm looking for any signs of encouragement, hoping he'll come good and if he has a decent pre-season maybe he'll carry that over into the league season..

Who's winning the preseason friendlies then?
Season must be getting closer all as all the special people are starting to appear on the Holloway Road of an evening with their full kits on. Can't wait for the Emirates trophy to kick off it's like day release near me when it does -

Think LvG has won. All other teams have given up in the face of his awesomeness according to the general media.
Apparently he even shouted at Luke Shaw.

As long as he plays, he'll come through. His talent is there for everyone to see, he just needs to be given a bit of time and encouragement which he'll now get from Poch.

JohnH is back??
For some reason thought Schnederlin was the creative part of Southampton's midfield, rather than the enforcer/breaker up of play. Like Rodriguez, think he's the young up and coming striker we've been looking for, for a while, just depends how well he comes back from injury, and how much southampton would want for him.
Also supposedly in for Griezmann, and if that fails Memphis Depay. Not sure Griezmann is worth the full buyout clause though, and if we do get him, not much space for Lennon and/or Townsend.
