They're not THAT cheap though are they? Hardly a PX. A Cf slx is £1600 f&f, which buys you a lot of bike from Giant, Cannondale, Cervelo..etc
Frames might not be that cheap. But the complete bikes are pretty much the cheapest you get from a 'big' brand.
Also about customer service; i have been reading up different forums that include a canyon topic since owning one, and the customer service seems to be pretty nice with this kind of stuff. Ordering, however, seems to take longer for pretty much everyone except for me.

^^^^ and that limited mavic edition is extremely nice.
Wish I would've waited another 2 months and saved up 700 extra.
On the other hand, that would have been 2 months less of awesome time in the alps on my new bike.. -

Considering picking up a Canyon AL SLX with Sram force.
Whats the difference between the sl and slx?
I have heard their sizing calculator is shit. I am 5'10 and ride a 55cm square in old school sizing.
Any opinions on the bike or the above points are appreciated.
cheers -

As far as I know, there is no Ultimate AL SL.
If you mean the difference between Ultimate AL and Ultimate AL SLX, the main difference is 110 grams, without really changing anything in terms of stiffness and handeling for the frame.
In terms of sizing, M has an effective tt of 549 mm
I hear it's a pretty nice bike, testwinner in a lot of magazines.
Bikeradar is pretty excited about it too: -

Medium sounds about right, though I'm 5'9ft and I got a Small, but with a 120mm stem. (as you can specify what length stem suits your riding style best)

I'm curious about your experience with it once you've got it by the way

worth going for the VCLS 2.0 post if buying the AL SLX?
-
• #586
That frame is already supposed to be pretty comfortable for an aluminium frame and, I think it already comes with the VCLS post right? So the thing you should ask is if it's worth going for 'even more' comfort for 100 dorrah more.

Spend the £100 on a nice saddle and tyres.

^ This.
-
• #589
£100 would not get you both saddles and tyres.
-
• #590
Depends on what saddle and tyres you like using Shirley?
-
• #591
and/or would be better.

• #592
Antares is pretty ok.
Go for tires -

There is, bottom right corner of each bicycle show a grey circle shape with the size on it.

Lots of money for second hand bicycles.

Rodriguez's bike might be collectible. The rest, meh.

Those with race wheels would cost ~ 8k to put together yourself?
A page of bike porn for me. I already have a Paulino beard.

This bike from Rodriquez is already gone.
Extra collectible because of upside down bottle cage.
Only saving grace is that it is the SL and not SLX! =(
