Greipel going backwards

He's obviously seen as a lost cause. May have told them as much. Has Slagter got the kick against Gerrans or Sagan? He looks tiny.
-
• #3204
I don't know, but the rest of his team are working hard at the front, presumably setting up the stage for Slagter.
Ruthless tactics.
Maybe just facing up to the fact he's not going to win for the overall so it's better to lose time and go for stages.
Else he got overheard slagging Vaughters for being a massive hipster and is being put firmly on the naughty step.

He's abandoned.
Poor sod, even if the crash that has likely caused it was his own fault.

Sucky.

French commentators refusing to believe it and bravely saying it's an error by radio tour like Machado's...In other news, i got bored yesterday and made a scatological, entertaining and amusing cycling blog that I've partially stolen nuggets from on here, hashed out and I'll probably be equally bored with in a matter of days.

Broom wagon lurking. And he's gone. Bad back.

He's back on! Do it!

Still going.

• #3211
Eh? Still going
is he crying? -
• #3212
Looks like he may be fighting back tears, yeah. Vive le tour!

Apparently Machado actually got as far as sitting in the ambulance, so it's not surprising that mix-up happened:

This is out of the air, so someone will probably be able to correct, but I thought I'd heard ages ago that it was 30% of the days winning time.
(although it's not a hard and fast rule, whatever it is)

Rogers going for it.

Roche.

The time limit is worked out based on the categorisation of the stage, so less on flat days, a larger percentage on mountain stages. Would think it's 120% of the winner's time today.
Talansky is a trooper, but he'll do well to make the time limit.

Roche.
My bad, thought that grimace was the gurning face of ol Mick.

Does anybody else use Sky Go? Always a mega time lag.

Or Wiggins.
Maybe next year.

Aren't the commissaires notoriously fickle in their implementation of time-limits? Be interesting to see how strict they are today ..
I assume they dont want him catching up and causing a crash during the sprint again jeapordising their own chances!
