These pay and ride £6 sessions at Lee Vallye VeloPark .. How crowded are they? I am thinking of going on Thursday after work.

• #61853
I'll have to come up with something though as they are disturbing my sleep.
Have you tried a white noise machine ?
-
• #61854
Like a simply red album?
-
• #61855
I think that's technically 'ginger noise' and much less peaceable than its albino counterpart.

Can't you just buy a fucking hawk? Make it a wee perch on your window and pretend you're Bryan Ferry in a Roxy Music video every morning when you wake up.

And when people say 'Come on Tim' it isn't necessarily an instruction to you.

I never heard Tim complain.
So are there exercises i can do? Should i be massaging it? I kinda keep digging my finger into the tender spot. It feels better for an hour or so then comes back. Am i doing good or making it worse?

Asking on behalf of my partners father who has leg issues. He needs a zero float clipless on his right leg, has stability issues with walking in road shoes on the road cleats. Ideally he'd like a to use the mountain bike sidis to walk around in off the bike, so are there a mountain bike cleats with no float?

SPD with the retension on max?
-
• #61866
Nah you'd still get the 6 or 12° (?) float with the tension wound in.
Speedplay Zero can have zero float but they definitely arent for MTB.

How do I get rid of the parakeets outside my window which wake me up at sunrise every morning? I've tried plying hawk, falcon and birds of prey noises from a speaker but this doesn't work. I'm reluctant to shoot them with a BB gun.
bird lime

So they get stuck on the window ledge and tweet away ever more weakly until they eventually starve to death as an example to the others? Grim.
Get a plastic hawk. Even if it doesn't work you will still have a rad plastic hawk. http://www.pigeoncontrolresourcecentre.org/html/reviews/hawk-falcon-bird-of-prey-decoy.html
Or a WIND POWERED OWL. http://www.pigeoncontrolresourcecentre.org/html/reviews/defenders-wind-powered-plastic-action-owl-decoy.html

anyone?
-
• #61873
The birdlime stops the parakeets flying away which allows the hawks & owls to eat them.
