A father/daughter tandem team, we made it the whole way without being rained on, then got co-opted into passing out free bananas and muffins at Dunwich in the absolute pouring rain.

We were on the blue Raleigh T6000 with fairy lights on the frame and green lights in the front wheel and pink at the back. These are the things a father has to do to get a daughter onto a tandem, apparently.

I think a group of forumengers said hello to us at the start, but we were off before the overheard "Vince DASed me" had sunk in. Also there was an LFGSS cap.

The daughter was the stoker, I remember passing and, before I realised it was tandem, thinking this girl was crazy fast
