good subject tho
It's funny, there's this young boy from 60 years ago, but what are the modern-looking traffic signals doing there? -

You mean TxP?
Nah man, tri-x. Changed in the early 90's, then completely redeveloped chemically in 2007 as the TX. The old version is amazing. Juicy contrast.

Yashica T4 seemed to make more of a loud sound when advancing the film while I was shooting with it the last time.
Then, out of nowhere, it just started rewinding after exposing frame 10.
WTF.
So I took the roll to the cheap shop that does shit C41 dev (but does it in 20 mins), to see if the camera was advancing regularely until frame 10, whether sprocket holes were torn, or find out anything that could explain the behaviour.
Found nothing.
If anybody got any ideas - please help!So now I have a cross-developed CT Precisa I shot with the intent to show of the banging colours of these few summer days we have atm.

Another film back out of the Hexar... much nicer results... not overly contrasty and sharpened like the last bunch of scans.
ONe dead nice one but felt I missed most the decent shots from the weekend.
This one could of been much better...

Not sure what gives you the impression you're a newb at taking photos. This is the kind of stuff that makes me itch to grab my small bike again. I still have one of the early Ride mag photo issues and I'd slap this on a double page spread.

Ha, thanks. The ones I share on here are the selects... I have rolls and rolls of under exposed blurs.
Defo not a DPS though... if the lad was doing a solid table it could maybe go big... or a tucked no hander through some smoke (if you remember that one)... -

This is prob my fave from the latest roll... "the wife" will go nuts I'm sharing this, not due to her being in it but due to the untidy bed sheets.... please excuse...
-
• #8286
Utter filth! How the hell are you going to get black cat hairs out of white sheets.
Ha! sure do remember the smokey no hander. What gets me about the one above though is the sentiment really. Flowing through trails in a train simply catching air. One of those experiences that never get old. -

Damn right, it was a good day riding... The Fids turned up and 3'd every set in the main line... about 5 or 6 sets including hips both ways.
Cat hair is ALWAYS everywhere...
I used to work for Ride... it was interesting to see the level of photoshop work that went in to some of the photos...

Digging the colour in the bike shot. What film?
Is this shot with the Hexar RF, or the autofocus one?

Really? Surely there's only so much you can do before you might as well CG the whole thing!

Yeahhhhh... that Martin T no hander shot had some work done to it I can tell ya! I have many dark secrets from that rag... I remember laying out a gap to ice sequence where we had to photoshop the peg on to the rail! hahahhahaaha.
@Superflyguy.. yeah, straight from the lab
@Tina think it was Fuji Superia 200 and its th AF, my eyes are too fucked for manual focus! -

A few weeks ago I posted about my new MF Minolta. I didn't post much after that because I managed to leave the damn thing in a coffee shop and someone walked off with it :-(
Was at someone's house yesterday.. Long story short, I am now the owner of an Olympus Om1 and associated bits and bobs (including the original receipts from RG Lewis on High Holborn). So am very happy to have such a classic piece of kit. May get on it today, if i dont pig out in front of the Tour.
Any experience of this camera?

anyone interested in a Ricoh GR1?
Or willing to swap for a grd? -
• #8299
How much for the gr1? I'm trying to get mine repaired ATM but it's taking ages...
OM1's are great. I have an OM10 and a couple of lenses. Might be up for selling them though as I have forgotten how to use it... -
• #8300
OM1's are great
..neglected them in the past, but now realize what nice cameras they are. Have fun!
You mean TxP?
