Any question answered...

I live in a 1st and 2nd floor flat.
Our virgin media cable comes in through the front wall into the lounge.
The office at the back of the house gets a terrible wifi connection.

What is the best way to get a cable back there?
Is there anything wrong with buying a 200m long ethernet cable and routing it round the external of the house and into the office at the back?

LIDL are selling a pretty decent Wifi range extender that just plugs into a mains socket and acts as a repeater. You will lose some bandwidth on the extended network as it isn't duplexed but for most uses it should be fine or even unnoticeable.
