• Now you are confusing things.

    As a club we had spoken to the coaches at LVP and had asked and been granted permission to run the first 2 hours for unaccredited riders and the last hour for accredited riders with the coaches not only approving this but offering to structure the session around that format.

    Not that it now matters, as people booked for the unaccredited session, and no-one booked the accredited so it will now be a single 3 hour session with the difference in costs being covered on the day by those wishing to stay on the track the last hour.

    On the prices, thanks for your input but if you do the sums you'll see your prices do not add up. The raw costs of 3 hours with 2 coaches (the minimum permitted by LVP is 1 coach per 16 riders) including bike hire stacks up to £989.30 for 32 riders... or £30.92 per rider assuming every single slot is taken, no-one drops out, and everyone pays. Which means in real terms it is a higher price than that. If you would like us to use your recommended prices then please show how it is viable.

    I've shared the raw costs and calculations here and am already basing it on selling out and having a lower than 10% drop-out rate (perhaps unrealistic, meaning I personally end up subsidising costs):

    Please do not confuse things, things got confusing already as we booked the session way in advance of LVP hiring coaches and all of their policies and prices settling down and some of the information early in this thread reflects that. We were already subject to things changing as those things settled, and that was confusing enough.

    The info on travelling is extremely helpful though, so thank you for that.
