Nah, I don't get it. The food is nice but so is the food down the road in Sorrento. There's amazing art and sculpture but it's treated like shit and the place is a tip due to the local mafiosos controlling the bin wagons and refusing to collect anything whenever the politicians get a bit argumentative. Sorry mate but if I want to go somewhere where I constantly think I'm about to be robbed I'd go to Liverpool. It's closer and cheaper.
And Lake Como has a) no speed limit on the lake, b) the Moto Guzzi factory, c) James Bond scenery, and d) you can nip to Switzerland if you like,
