This. Because of the hub geometry, and the fact that the DS flange is so close to the centre of the hub, the DS spokes are virtually vertical. As a result the NDS spokes are at less than 50% of the tension of the DS spokes. Might be worth doing 2x on the NDS and 1s on the DS.
Never had any problem with CX-Rays on my Powertaps. Got two built up with CX-Rays at the moment, and a third in progress.
