  • Again, not knee pain but this is the only kind of medical advice thread I can find that isn't years old.
    I bought recently an older langster as a commuter/beater. It came with a Specialized saddle which at the rear has a raised gel circle on each side, where the sit bones should be.
    I find it pretty comfortable apart from a little saddle soreness to begin with.
    But now 2 weeks on, I have a lot of pain on my butt, just next to my sit bone and there is a lump, feels like a swollen vein or something.
    The gel bits on the saddle are a bit too narrow so may it be putting pressure on the wrong part of my ass?
    I really don't have time for the doctor as I work 50 hours a week

    Change your saddle.
