Saw this on the back of a bus on Monday and thought "Why is this important?".
Buses operate within a ever-changing and randomly affected environment, how would something telling the driver what time he is due do anything other than add pressure and encourage risk-taking to make it on time? Especially as its pretty much widely understood that bus drivers are heavily leaned on to get to their stops on time.
This is in no way a good thing. If you are waiting for a bus and it is late, no big deal - its probably stuck in traffic. Its a bus. Target based policies cannot work and should not be implement in this industry, especially where TFL buses have murdered and crippled generations of road users for years.
