GPS tech (Garmin, Hammerhead, Wahoo, RWGPS, etc)

Any suggestions for OSM walking/hiking maps for Garmin. Googling throws up various random things but no real detail what all the various maps have. Looking at the Lake District for the moment. Cheers

I would think that the bog standard map from the source would be best.
