Have any 2nd round investors received their SEIS certificates?
-
• #880
No. And I haven't done anything with my first one. Have I missed the boat?

just fire it on this year's tax return. you'll get half the value back. probably worth doing -

Have any 2nd round investors received their SEIS certificates?
There was a shortfall of SEIS3 certificates, and I'm awaiting replacements and have just sent off another email to ensure that I get the replacements.
But I was on the understanding that Seedrs had dispatched the initial set and were just waiting for the replacements for the shortfall. I shall find out.
My belief: About 100 investors should have received theirs, fewer than 20 are waiting to receive them.

You can do it this year or next (or the one after)... but not the one after that.
Basically you get a few years to file it, but do file it.

Are there instructions anywhere? He says not Googling it...
By this year's, do you mean the one I'll file in a last-minute panic in January?
-

Thanks Velocio,
yes I was aware about the certificate problems from the quarterly investor updates. I was curious to hear from investors about whether and when they had received them. I have not yet, and am about to move house - this is pretty much the only thing that i'd want to set up royal mail forwarding for, so was interested as to whether it was imminent or not.
cheers -

^^ i mean the one you'll file as soon as you get your SEIS3 certificate. :)

I believe it's reasonably straight forward. Another firm that raised money under SEIS published this guide: http://www.osneylockhydro.co.uk/shareholders/claiming-seis-tax-relief/

Did I read there's a third round in the works meaning we'll need to go through the same 'add more to avoid dilution' lark at some stage? ETA?
-
• #890
Yes,... in a couple of months I guess.
I'm on vacation for 2 weeks, then we start getting interest whilst finishing the migration of LFGSS onto Microcosm.
We'll try to move fast, but everyone who has gone through this says it takes ages... so I can't begin to imagine when it will happen, but you will get advance notice.

vacation?!?!?
are you a septic?!?!?

Thanks vb, will keep eyes peeled.

I haven't received mine. Is it possible to call them or something?
-
• #895
I haven't received mine either.
-
• #896
Yup, only almost relevant thing I've had in the post is from HMRC saying I owe them £250. Most upset as I thought it might have been a tax rebate.

Made Simple Group have promised to now forward them to me, First Class no less.
What a result!
Once I'm back from holiday I'll get them turned around within a week. My apologies for the delays, afterall I had chosen that company to manage the registered address.

Just to note that mines not arrived either.
Cheers for looking after it though VB (and hope you have a good holiday)
