I agree with what I could understand of what Gordon Strachen said (no subtitles but I think I got the gist) that we will gloss over drink drivers, wife beaters, divers, cheats etc. as long as they are winning games. If the offending player is a youth team or reserve player they will be instantly sacked but not a multi million pound first team player. The next time he walks onto the pitch, he will be applauded by the home fans. This is football and we leave our morals at home in search of seeing our team win.
I'm also bitter about this because it was a early lesson about life and 'fairness' at school when I saw the best players who should have been in detention with me get that last chopper outta saigon while I stayed. So playing semi pro and they get off?!
