I spotted a cycle lane when I was riding from Rainham to my Dad's in Sheerness a few weeks ago. It starts at the roundabout before you get onto Sheppey via the old bridge. It was a very windy day and the traffic on the old road was quite busy due to people being scared of going over the new bridge when it is windy so I decided oo I'll go on this, hoping it would take me all the way over across the bridge, along the Sheppey way to the Queenborough Corner roundabout. Did it fuck. It stopped abruptly with bollards before I even got to the bridge.
There is not even a drop kerb to rejoin the road. It starts again after the bridge and then makes you cross the road to rejoin on a shared path on the right hand side of the road.
I'll just stick to the road as per usual next time.
