Any question answered...

Facebook keeps on annoying me. I don't use it a lot anyway.

However, quite a few people want me to use it when I'm out of the UK to keep up to date with me.

I'd like to set up some sort of closed blog. Basically a site where I can choose who I invite, write brief posts about what I'm doing and upload photos.

I'm not going to be having any uber secret on there so I'm not massively worried about security etc. I just don't want to have to use Facebook.

Any ideas or suggestions?

Simple to use, easy to set up.
Can be made private so you can invite people.
Can be re-skinned easily.
Linked to your gmail.
They can interact in the comments areas...

Isn't as good as Facebook in terms of features.
