I used to work for a company that sold hydraulic Flange Spreaders. I swear I was the only one in the place who found it just a little bit funny.

The flange sits on the actual fascia of stem / hole diameter is smaller than flange diameter.

Here's the threaded rivets I bought. I though that even if it did not work to save that stem it was something useful to have in my tool box... (mudguard fixing, etc...)
