Re brazing the cracked bb, I had a frame with cracked bb shell and found a frame builder who recommended brazing a ring round the outside of the shell, and flooding/re-tapping thread, all for £25. Said he done this several times in past with great success.

£180 posted is way optimistic for a damaged Holdsworth like this, sorry.

Thanks for that. I might end up having that done myself.

Well, it is lovely - but too big for me...I might be wrong, but I've always known these track frames, with mudguard eyes as track/path frames - a title that adds another dimension to it (I may not have looked for a pure track frame, as they are too rigid for me).
Perhaps, if you have to advertise it out of here, it could be an idea to play on the fact that it is versatile & a piece of cycling history ?
Best of luck... -

I'd bring it to Mario Vaz for a respray if you're close to London or can ship to him...then enjoy it!

He resprayed my Zephyr, decals were all wonky but I didn't give a shit... Best F&F I've ever owned, it's in Oz now... Might come back to me yet!
Here's my old one...

My decals had bubbles of air underneath, he said that was because LLoyd re-printed them, they were not original and when in the oven they'd create those bubbles. Nothing he could do better.
As with you I don't care :) I don't see them any more unless I go up close, so don't care at all :) the paint job was perfect albeit new paints are crap and chip very easily :(

hmmmmmm, been thinking about it. I've invested a lot of time in it and not sure I want to part with it just yet. However I have been tripping over bikes in my hallway and thinking I need to minimize the number of bikes I have. Let me just think about that some more.
Hi I fix bikes, just wondered if this might be up for sale again given your Last answer to a similar question?

It was unlikely to stick around..

Being pedantic here - but don't the mudguard eyelets make it a path racer, as opposed to track frame?
