Pics of the condition it's in please? Might be able to help.
Sorry - took a while, here is the patient:
This is an Arabica which I germinated from a bean.
It looks very, very sad right now, I'll see if I can find a picture of it last year when it looked rather more cheerful.
I've basically run out of ability to make it live/thrive - if someone could take it away and "fix" it, then it would make me happy.

It's in a pot. Very, very few plants thrive long term in a pot.

It won't like being in a wind chilled pot, and you've let it get too leggy by not pruning back at the end of autumn
A shorter squat pot (half barrel) with insulation would warm the roots better, and cut to keep it short. Also out the breeze in a south facing position would make it happier.

Cold kills it, so it has to be able to come inside - frost is lethal.

Cut the top off?

Cut the top off?
Not until growing season over

And ericaceous compost with a loamy structure

Do you know what variety it is? (I can't help, just interested).

I'm afraid the best I can do is "Arabica", if it's possible to narrow it down further I don't posses the knowledge to so do.
I have a little Robusta in a pot that lives next to the sink - it is very cheerful.

It was a surprise dill in some mixed herb seeds from poundland, which also seems to have provided chervil and tansy (and some less exciting parsley).
It is internet identified by me - so there is a chance it is not dill, but you can have one if you like and let me know. Seems happy in pots and is fairly self-supporting a bit like fennel.

Dammit - a few of these have already been mentioned but I'd try:
Re pot with and feed with these as these seem to help the leaves green up on mine: http://www.greenfingers.com/product.asp?dept_id=200411&pf_id=LS9271D&co=fr&gclid=CKL3hobdkL8CFQfJtAod3TsArw
Keep it indoors, somewhere where there is a lot of light and the temperature doesn't fluctuate too much.
And if you're feeling brave, cut the top section off and remove any dead branches/leaves. Hopefully that will kick it back into life*

Is this a weed of some sort? It's growing in a box I don't recall planting anything, although it's not impossible a seed from the neighbouring box made its way over. My partner thinks it was a gift from a bird.

In case anyone's wondering, I replanted the weed into its own pot. Doing lovely. Probably going to be the tallest thing on the balcony soon.

I'd like to see it when it flowers. I have no clue what it is.

Looks like a healthy garden :-)
Are those tomatoes meant to be a bush type or have you been lax with your control of side shoots? -
• #448
I have definitely been lax.

You'll still get lots of toms by the looks of it, I often wonder whether it makes any difference to the end result... still, its a satisfying saturday morning job with a coffee.

Anyone have any pebbles going spare, would need about a kg worth, need some to cover the top soil in my window box, which is prone to drying out when the weather gets good.
Let me know.
I have some orange habanero seedlings, seven of them, as more seeds germinated than expected. I probably don't need seven. Anyone want a couple? Happy to swap seedlings or you can just have them. I'm south-east.
