Hi All,
I'm after a Rim Recommendation for a new build, I've just ordered a Rear 32H Large flange track hub and I'll need a Rim to pair with it, I'm running Fixed on a daily (30 mile round trip) commuter bike, so I need a sensibly priced 622 clincher rim,
I don't currently use a rear brake but might want the option to fit one through winter, I typically use 25 - 28C tyres @90-100psi, I'm currently ~85kg and tend not to ride with bags/panniers or extra loads.
I've got a couple of potential rims I'm already considering:
First is a Mach 1 "Omega", I've got an off the peg rear wheel on my Geared road bike with one of these and its been a pretty reliable wheel.
My second one is an Ambrosio Excursion, slightly cheaper, with eyelets but I've never used an Ambrosio rim before so don't know what they are like.
Any input/experiences/better recommendations looking for a robust rim under £30 ideally...
