I am considering bidding on it... I'm in Belfast though but she'll live in a nice dry warm house and be kept in the locked and dry bike shed at work :)
Human babies...yep I remember that time. Barely time to shower at the start ^_^
But... he/she may grow up to join you cycling and the "cycle" then begins anew. -

^ on that note, it's always worth scouring e-bay.it for frames. A bit of Google translate goes a long way often people do ship if you ask nicely.
Got the Cougar, so it stays in LFGSS. Hope it likes Norn Ire.

I just saw this one in the flesh in Canterbury while walking around. Didn't meet the owner, but the bike was left outside a cafe with the price (of 300 quids):
Lovely frame, the build was a bit of whatever he had on the garage.

Someone jump on this ASAP
Claud Butler 853 with webbed lubs, 199gbp, 57cm-ish
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Claud-Butler-Professional-Reynolds-853-Road-Bike-Frame-Frameset-Webbed-Lugs-/251558432988?pt=UK_Bikes_GL&hash=item3a920d10dcOne went for around £100 not that long ago. Holding out for a bargain like that again. £200 is a pretty reasonable price.
Beautiful indeed!!!
Love the web lugsI sold my yellow version recently for £170, £199.99 isn't unreasonable I don't think.
Beautiful frameset, really nice and light and looks great. When I saw the listing I thought it was mine being re-sold and wasn't best pleased.

Haha, thanks man! I'm good old fashioned bidding from the pub with a pint in my hand! I've always post stuff I find, I haven't done it for a while tho, usually go and do a massive post of all the interesting stuff I see. Please do let me know if it doesn't fit or need something smaller as I have one I'm willing to trade/sale!

I am using any technological advantage in the Bidding Wars I can find ;)
Should be fine my Ciocc is 50.5 TT, shorter than 49 is going to be too short I think as I have long femurs. Knees in ears job.

Yeah, what I mean is that £200 is a normal price, but they do go very cheap occasionally. It took you a while to get that price yourself (yours was in my watch list for ages).

Nice, but are they really worth £600, especially with that big dent in the front?
-
• #51321
£300 more gets you a whole bike with the same wheelset attached.

Crazy how much bike you can get on eBay for £150 or so. So many nice ones on there, 531 etc, for good prices.

Hi all, this is my little darling you guys are talking about. I'm going to miss her soooo much but with my new baby (a human one) the flat has been taken over by toys that aren't nearly as fun.
I bought her from a teenage track racer in Manchester. Her dad told me it had never been off the track before I took her. Oh man, I really do remember coming back from Manchester on the bus and taking the cougar out to ride for the first time. She felt so twitchy and tight at first compared to my long Holdsworth. This bike was with me through setting up the Bicycle Film Festival and the first ever London polo tourney, and the Trixie Chix, and riding my first alley cat (2nd place on this baby!) and the first Tweed Run.
Ok so now I'm getting all emotional. I love this bike and I hope it goes to someone great. It's so pretty, even if I did do a great job of introducing the little track bike to the streets of London. Perhaps a great bday present for your girlfriend or an awesome father's day present for your baby daddy (who has more storage space then us), or your next killer project (the colour way is so much fun to play with).
I'm done but seriously, please keep it in the LFGSS family as I may need to visit it later.
.....I hope this doesn't count as posting my own ebay!
