It is possible to cycle sometimes without all the data. This morning I was riding/chatting to a (very good) ironman triathlete out on a cafe ride. He's done 21 hrs this week and was happy to be away from all the tech for a couple of hours.
True, but it's one of the parts of cycling that I quite enjoy - once the ride is over, you've had a shower, got some food etc, looking over the figures and comparing them to last year/last time you rode that route etc.
