That is a traditional Japanese pattern usually used on kimonos to represent the sea.
Don't like it.

Hmmm, so the 2014 kit design is proving a bit of a Marmite :/
-

I'm pretty indifferent if that levels the field, but it isn't something I'd spend money on
-
• #311
It's nice but the arm-warmers really did need to be one colour, either the blue or the yellow, that's basic

Out of riding back. Just been reminded what 130 miles feels like, I was far too optimistic to think I could do double.

What front lights are people going to be running for this? Guess it makes sense to buy a proper "see with" rather than "be seen" front light - being a Suffolk lad I know the lanes are pitch.
Something like this? http://www.chainreactioncycles.com/hope-vision-1-led-front-light/rp-prod87980?utm_source=Google&utm_medium=Shopping&utm_name=UnitedKingdom&gclid=CPnisf2Y274CFebItAodIy8AKQ&gclsrc=aw.ds

Cree lights off ebay for about £12 sorted me out last year, take an extra set of batteries though. To be fair, I didn't really need to use both at the same time, was probably overkill.

That is the industry standard for WNKR's night rides.
With a full moon, a bit of luck and a bunch of people round you you can get away with less. There are also budget options off ebay that kick out enough light to ride by, attaching a powerful torch to a helmet works pretty well.

RE return trains, do they run extra or just the normal Sunday service?

RE return trains, do they run extra or just the normal Sunday service?
See above (somewhere) for details but they run one extra train from Darsham that has an extra carriage for bikes. So generally no but I've never returned by train so don't know the details.

I did a 40miler yesterday and suffered.
This is going to kill me.Make sure you eat the right food on route, stay hydrated and pace yourself. You will find you can go a lot further than you expect. You still have plenty of time to train, too!
-
• #321
Agreed. If you can do 40 you can do this. Just go slow and east and drink lots.

Hey, newbie here but I will be there, albeit a bit worried about taking my single speed so I may bring gears. Do I still get my name on the list?
The arm warmer/ jersey scale seems to have been designed for a trex
