Fun afternoon. Pretty sure I spotted laner racing.
I hope the rider who crashed during the Kermesse is ok. Shocked to see the race go past within half a meter of his head while he was on the ground. -

Really good day/evening out, once again it reminded me how great forum gathers can be, you guys really are great. Much rep to all the racers and those who made it out.
Brace yourselves, pictures are coming

so did we get any places on the track race?
also, how did Howard & Petor do in the Boris-bike race?got there at 7:30 with the missus, watched a few moments of what was supposed to be the Brooks Retro Crit, only to see carbon frames! went for some pasta, then met Chris (whomustnotbementionedonhere) who explained about the crash/delay, then watched women's elite & men's elite crit. Nice ride home with mrs conker (not toooooo slow).
Nice to see so many faces from now and then

Thank you everyone for cheering me on! It was great!
Despite more than an hour delay / sitting at the start line after warming properly our race was cut short to just 15 minutes. I've attacked early, as there was not much time to hang about. Sometime soon after that my seat post started slipping little by little on every bump and went all the way down by the end of the race. Really gutted, as I had a big chance to be in top 3. The only thing I can do is come back stronger and more prepared next year and hopefully that race inspired some of you to race next year.

The Marshall with the red flag was getting well aggro when several people suggested he might like to use the flag to alert riders to the prone cyclist on the ground.

Didn't have the best of starts and before lap one was over the group was completely spilt and therefore we were racing in the small group at the back, generally good day out and still hate crits btw, sorry I didn't get to see more forum guys that evening my mate crashed in the retro bike race and I had to gather his stuff and attend to his injuries.
Anyways here are some photos of the day from my end, sorry to the limited amount of photos this time, (not great at multi-tasking)

Ride Report.
Cocked up the unfolding and then in my haste to try and catch up I shifted gear going over the bump on the back straight and lost the chain off the front ring. Game Over.Consoled myself with free beer in VIP area.

Good race. Pretty pissed off with the sudden 2nd change of timings... After waiting an hour at the start line, getting told it was going to be shorted to 15 minute +3 laps to then suddentl find it was 10 minutes +3 laps? Missed the sprint... Still chuffed with 13th!

Dat ass.
I headed down for a couple of hours and ran into a few forum types, as well as spotting Ho and Dimi fixie skidding around, and some fat banker with nose piercing on a carbon bike in the fat bankers' race.
My efforts to support weren't appreciated by the missus who told me 'you can't just shout out "ho" in public'.
It was nice to see a few familiar faces in the crowd, including Seven04 and his youth club as we left.
Any news on the London Dynamo rider?
Park. Finish line.
