My office block is being converted into flats too. Change of use relaxation is hovering up all of London in it's wake.

Only one seat at the table - you'll have to eat on the 'shared roof terrace' (the roof)

We could all just not live in London. Soon all of the classic London professions will be priced out of the capital and places like Birmingham, Manchester, Sheffield and Bristol will have bankers, barristers, media, tech startups and even graphic designers.
Maybe.
And this is exactly why I'm leaving Brighton.
You think you have it bad in London? You do and now you've fucked up the south coast too. Cheers.
I'm off to Leeds. Cheap, close to the mountains and entire houses for rent at less that £500 at month. I can buy for under £100k too.
I'm leaving public services because the last four years I've had constant 'real money' pay cuts and over-inflation housing increases. Dave and Gideon can be 'all in it together' with the rest of their Etonian cunts.
Fuck 'Scottish' independance, it'll be better if anywhere north of the Watford Gap joins the jocks tbh.

Its funny; our office (an agency/tech start up type place and I am a graphic designer) is moving end of this year. When this was announced first you should've seen the panic on people's faces which lasted for a week when the CEO had to make an announcement that we WONT move out of zone one/Fitzrovia and it wont affect anyone's commute. Fucking oyster card sheep.

I don't think it's been let, I reckon it's been taken off the market, what sort of person can afford nearly a bag of sand a month but would live there? It doesn't fit to me, surely no one's THAT desperate to live in a shitty corner of N1

I’ve just been approved for a mortgage with my gf, we’re in Leeds. 3 bed semis with good size gardens in decent areas currently on for around £120-150k. There are a few detached houses for around that price too (drumkit you say?). You can get a terrace in a less desirable area (but still not da ghetto) for around £70k. My sis bought a flat in Hove last year, dread to think how much it cost!
Of course the downside is you have to work dahn t'pit and rub shoulders with scummy northern people everyday!
Six million and a bit of cardboard and four largish offices in our block say £200.000 a year will be turned into 27 flats for £500.000 each in Camden.
