It would be great to canvas opinion of how many beginners would like to play at Herne Hill. It is a perfect court for beginners because its very smooth and we would like to encourage track riders to come give it a go too! Can someone start a list?

Yeah I'd definitely be up for playing at Herne Hill, any particular day in mind for beginner's sessions?

Ah, well Tuesdays at Newington work well for me as it's near work and I know a few people come from north of the river so I imagine it'd be the same for them.
Would there be any space for sessions on weekends?

Tuesdays are good for Newt I reckon. I live in stockwell so I wouldn't mind, but already we have a fair few northerners who might be put off by travelling even further.
I reckon weekends for HH. And not limited to beginners - but explicitly beginner friendly with beginner throw ins etc.
Thoughts?

Thoughts?
Yeah that sounds good!
If we had weekend sessions at HH but with a mixed crowd and just had beginners throw ins. And then we'd be playing but also watching faster paced games and maybe getting tips from more experienced players.
Is that what you mean?

Of course everyone is welcome at HH weekends or otherwise. But i am specifically looking to get some beginners that already do tuesdays and get some of the track users involved in polo.

Ladies and Gentlemen,
on Sat (7 June) there will be a Cycling showcase at the Hackney City Farm (and surrounding). Behind the Albion pub at 94 Goldsmiths Row there's a court where we will run a polo session for everyone interested, especially people who have never tried before. We're gonna start at 10am, end latest 5pm, maybe earlier.
But it would be good to have games going - basically run a usual beginner session like on the best Tuesday nights.
Please come along, bring all the loaners and mallets you have (and a cone if you find on the way), and your good spirits...Who's in?

Here's a question for Hope: I don't know who you are here on the forum. You had these blocking magnets for allen key screws on your road bike. You remember, we talked about this. Where did you get them from? Can you send me a link or something pls? I can't find them anywhere. Thanks! :)
