What Amey said. There's plenty of examples of it being used on carbon (TM removing stem logo's). I was worried about removing the lacquer on some forks, but as far as I was informed, it's made of far hardier stuff and doesn't react to the Acetone. Worked fine.
I'm not a fan of logo's or stickers, so I use it on everything.
