If he has made threats of physical violence then yes.

But you'll need to forward the PM to me in it's entirety so that I can prove you didn't edit it, and that the sender said it. Then, if a threat exists he will be banned.

You didn't report anything, you just made vague insinuations about somebody, somewhere, receiving 'threats' from someone.
