There's no need to rotafix anything, just get a decent chain whip and a length of tube to fit over it to make the handle longer than the wheel radius. To eliminate any chance of slippage, ensure that the chain on your whip goes at least slightly more than once round the sprocket, so it acts like a strap wrench.
