I got a little bored of KSP - I kept having to abandon Kerbals in weird orbits, having singularly failed to grasp the basic concepts of how to intercept orbits.
I feel a bit dumb - I mean FFS, it's a game, not rocket science.
I went off it for a while after trying to set up a communications network having not grasped that you can't just use 1 antenna to link between your unmanned craft and mission control which confused the hell out of me for a while ending up with several dead satellites orbiting the planet. There a few things more fantastically annoying that starting a descent only for your communications network to be blocked off by a passing moon/planet leaving you to watch your pride and joy slam into your target.
I heard a great little phrase that sums up the game. There are 2 ways to fail in KSP, you can either miss your target, or hit your target.
P.S. Check out this video if you have the time, without doubt the best mission I've ever seen in the game. If you're short on time check out the landing at the 27 minute mark. Absolutely insane!
