Is the top cap And star nut included with the Dolan headset?

Yeah, mine definitely came with the top cap and I'm pretty sure the star nut as well.

I need a 54cm pre-cursa or track champion, for my own use, anyone fancy selling me theirs?

Yes, drilled the rear bridge with an electric hand drill and used a front brake to get the longer bolt and just used a nut to secure rather than an internal allen nut as felt it was safer making as small a hold as possible (plus you can drill straight through as hole size the same both sides so no awkward angles drilling from back of bridge)

Very much doubt it. The FXE is drilled for a brake and I expect it is pretty much the same for seat stay design etc,.
If I am proved wrong I will just buy another frame, the sensible choice being an FXE which is already drilled. (which is the beauty of riding a £100 frame)

Now my Pre Cursa's back in the UK for the summer, I've made a few changes to it. New saddle (Fizik Arione), new longer stem (120mm Race Face out of the 'cheap stems' spares box), 'Rule No. 5' stem cap courtesy of tester, Dura Ace bottom bracket and cranks, USE chainring, and some Look Keo pedals. It's a 54cm. The forks are the Dolan pre-drilled forks which were offered as an alternative to the Alpinas when I bought it - I'm planning to fit a front brake and easily-removed lever for cycling over to LV/HH.

Nice I am ordering either a 54 or 56 (I'm 5fit11).

I've just emailed them about drilling the track forks for a front brake.
