I've tried the Aliante carbon and was fine (weight-wise) but for the shape. I can recommend the... Arione cx carbon braided... I'm a 6'3" lump and had no problems with them holding my weight on a thomson inline masterpiece, or enve setback post. Roads get a bit rough here as well.

Well I have an Arione CX carbon braided in very good condition that I'll be selling soon as I get something else sorted if anyone's interested?
