With squats you would have a curve of the lower back, maybe it's just too heavy and causing you to go into an un-natural position.

But the feeling isnt of too much weight, but more a feeling that the weight is pushing my hip into the back rest.
And i hate squats. a moment of distraction causes months of pain.
