Think the next one (years off) will be something like this. Love the moonwatch but can't do all that black. This one (^) is a mod but hoping Omega will release a must-have in the coming few years.
Or a silver-dialled IWC Mark XVII (XVIII?)

AND no keyboard in the background.

There's a keyboard in the background but there's no excuse for that amount of layers.

Go for a Speedy Alaska. Love the red hand. And for shits and giggles, every now and again you can go out with the cold weather shield thing on it and out-do everyone with their saucer sized fashion watches.

You might need one of these as well
And maybe some jewellers screwdrivers.

If I had the funds I'd go for the Ceramic version if not:
Like the new dual dial design and the nod to the past with the arrow'd sub dial on these '57 speedies.

The LG G Watch, which can be claimed as the first Android Wear device, was recently run through its paces in London.

Just visited Alsal on the strand. Good friendly service for a reasonable price. Fitted lizard strap and polished out the scratches on my Thunderbird.
Added £10 to price of strap to polish out the scratches on acrylic...is this about right? -

Whilst laudable to try and put something back into Detroit I'm not sure I'll be adding to the stable from these guys.
I know that the name comes from "can't tell shit from Shinola" but it's the first noun that sticks in the mind regardless how well built these quartz watches may be. And the lightning bolt.
Still, it's a subjective world.....

Random question. I'm going to be in Bordeaux in July. Are the any good vintage watch places there? Looking for a nice piece for the lady... thought it could be a place to find a hidden gem? crazy logic?

Saw one in TK Maxx of all places the other day for about a five - it was one of those shitty Chinese tool makes though (Rolson) so I didn't bother to pick one up. Still, for once in a blue moon use?
Should be Ti really.
