I'm not debating they are still a good team, and were at one point the best by some margin. I would just rather watch Madrid counter attack with Bale and Ronnie than watch Barca piddle it about about for an hour before walking it in. Also: I could watch Alonso play all day.
Not sure we're that far apart: Barca have been numbingly boring for about 2 years- relying on their ability to keep the ball but without that laser sharp incision...kinda like watching Klitchko box behind a jab. Madrid were scintillating in the Semis three weeks ago but if you think Madrid- even on that form- could live with Barca of 3 yrs back, you're mistaken IMO. That style of football isn't dead, it the legs of the team that perfected that are gone.
