I think the GT gloves are up there with the base layers in terms of being one of the best products Rapha does. I've a white pair, that are 6 years old at least, that are still going strong (if a little grubby) and a black pair that must be 3 years old now and look as good as new.
They are slightly difficult to get off, but really, life is too short to worry about how long it takes to remove a pair of gloves after a bike ride (about 30 seconds all in if you must know).
