What were they like? I can almost imagine cardamon ale.
They use coriander in ales so I don't see why other herbs and spices couldn't be used (except in the case of the Saison I had in Marylebone last week which had thyme and rosemary in, ugh).
I had the Gruut Inferno which was very floral but had a citrus tang, I thought it was really nice and was upset that I couldn't find any bottles of it to buy anywhere. hey sold all of their other beers.
Simon had the Brown I think which tasted a bit like a rich fruitcake.
We couldn't do a tour of the brewery as they only do tours for groups of 8 or more.
