Sorry, only just seen this.
The B3047 was always my preference for TT type efforts, but you'd probably have to go to Alresford and back 3 or 4 times to make up an hour and a half. The old A33 might be worth a go to, not sure how busy it is these days but it's relatively flat.
As you know, most roads out of Winchester go up hills.
