My Look never made it to porn :(
My 585 will never make it to porn either, but who cares? We have the best road bikes ever made, internet approval is for people who want to rescue something from having inferior bikes.

I'll keep telling myself that, while enviously watching others be awarded with the transient internet praise I desperately crave.

Its in every other thread on the forum though

I used to agree with tester on those bent Thomsons, but I think if they're not sticking too far out of the frame I actually think they look alright.

Me too
I just wanted to say that in that guise I don't think it's porn, the I don't like the Vee Rubber logos, or the cranks. Definitely could be in porn though if those were changed.

You unfortunately can't get low stack top caps for these, it's a specific system like Canyon and Time's.
That said, I'll be taking acetone to the stem shortly, and the silver brakes are mismatched Veloce because I accidentally bought campag brake blocks, which will be rectified when I move everything back over to my normal bike. But it's nice to be close to porn.
It's 99% man, I'm just a stickler for details*

It depends whether you re talking about pics or real life. In the flesh they actually look fine. In pics they re always anti. Although a Thompson anything on a road bike is always a massive fail IMO.

This, it looks gash on my other frame where the bend is about half way up, but I quite like it on this one.

I keeping looking at the matching WCS seatpost, but the masterpiece is ridiculously light and impressively engineered, so I can never be bothered to replace it

Tubs seem so extravagant these days. These wheels are nice.
Just amount of flats and brake track longevity.
Money to burn.

Do those Looks use 1 1/4" stems?

Do those Looks use 1 1/4" stems?
Nope, standard 1 1/8th non-tapered steerer.
In other news:
Additionally tester is right AFAIK, you can replace the whole headset with a standard one but the magical compression fit one is incredibly convenient and apparently lighter.

You could go for a Thomson or 3T stem with -17* for some drop.
Can't you just bin the Headfit thingy and assemble it like a conventional AHeadset? Not that you need to, if it fits properly with 15-20mm between the top of the headset bearing and the bottom of the stem, ignore the haters. But for God's sake do something about that seat post.
