Old crisp packets (AFAIK) have no value. If they ceased to exist it wouldn't matter, and would actually be a benefit because we wouldn't need to spend resouces disposing of them. If old tyres ceased to exist, not many people would care, except Velo-re, who would no longer be able to do make their products.
